All the local food and drink is amazingly inspirational. There are many traditional and tasty Andalucian products available nearby, such as cheese, wine, honey and chocolate. The ‘Jamon Iberica’ (Cured Ham) is considered to be especially good when produced at altitude, as it is here. We are a short drive from the highest village in Spain, Trevelez, reputed to produce the best in the world.
